Real funny police business

I thought as a nation we had convinced Her Majesty the Queen that we’re quite capable of handling our state of affairs, and on the Queen’s careful assessment she granted us our sovereignty. This of course was our opportunity to channel and shape our own destiny from childhood to adulthood.

Anyhow, this country was looking for a commissioner of police for a few years now. That so-called process had a lot of political confusion and bacchanalia with the vetoing of a local police officer by a former prime minister.

Now a foreigner has been selected with a salary much higher than the previous commissioner by a new government, maybe because of the already existing procedures.

But what the country doesn’t understand is how we ended up with a foreign deputy commissioner of police working for a salary that could pay three local deputies when we were only looking for a commissioner of police, real funny.
