TV reporter injured

GAYELLE’s anchorwoman, Charlene Ramdhanie yesterday underwent emergency surgery to her knee, after she was injured in an early morning vehicular accident at the Macoya intersec-tion. Reports state that Ramdhanie was heading east at around 2 am yesterday in her car, when she experienced some difficulty in the vicinity of the Macoya intersection.

Following the accident, Ramdhanie was rushed to the Mount Hope Hospital, where she is reported to be resting comfortably following the emergency surgery. A release from Gayelle stated that she will be kept under observation for the next 48 hours.
