Two shot in West

A DIEGO Martin man was shot on Tuesday night while walking in the La Puerta Sava-nnah, Diego Martin. According to reports, Myka Mark, 56, of Taylor Street in Diego Martin, was walking with friends around 8 pm when a man came up to them, pulled out a gun from his waist and opened fire on them. The freinds scattered in different directions but Mark was shot in the right side of his chest and collapsed a short distance away. The bleeding man was rushed to Port-of-Spain General Hospital where he underwent surgery and was listed in a satisfactory condition.

Constable Elliot of  Four Roads Police Station is investigating. No arrests have been made. In an unrelated incident, a yachtsman of Nuberry Hill in Glencoe remains warded at West Shore Medical Centre, Cocorite after being shot in the arm and abdomen by a gunman during a robbery on Wednesday. Sgt Stephen Rams-ubhag of Four Roads Police Station is investigating.
