Several schools announce registration for SEA students

The following schools have announced the date of registration for incoming SEA students: Registration for St George’s College, Barataria will be held on Tuesday, July 6. Registration for Servol Junior Life Centres at Beetham, Laventille, Cas-cade, Carenage, Sangre Grande, Mt D’or, La Romain and Couva will take place tomorrow and Tuesday, July 6 from 8.30 am to 2 pm. Registration for students at Mucurapo Junior Secondary will take place on Wednesday, July 7 from 8 am-1 pm and not as previously advertised.

Registration for students assigned to Sangre Grande Junior Secondary School (SGJSS) will take place from 8 am-12.30 pm on Thursday, July 8 for students with surnames A-L and on Friday, July 9 for students with surnames M-Z. Registration for Curepe Junior Secondary will take place on July 6.

SGJSS has advised that students be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians and should have the following:
1. Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) examination placement slip and copy.
2. Original birth certificate and copy.
3. Two passport photographs (white background) and student’s name must be written in BLOCK capitals on the reverse.
4. Fees for school uniforms, handbook, homework book and ID badges can be paid at the Republic Bank Sangre Grande branch or at the school on registration days.

For text book loans, parents/guardians of 2003 Form 1 students are asked to visit SGJSS from 8 am-3 pm on Tuesday, July 6 to sign contracts and receive the 2004 Form 2 loan text books. Parents/guardians are asked to bring with them one form of identification — either an ID Card, Driver’s Permit or Passport.
