Teen abducted, raped, beaten

POLICE are continuing investigations into an incident in which a 17-year-old girl was abducted during the early morning hours yesterday, by a man who subsequently raped, buggered and beat her. The traumatised teen, who had to be hospitalised after the attack, told police she had left work and was looking for transport to go home around 2 am. As she was about to cross the  road to board a Rio Claro taxi, a car stopped alongside her. The victim said the driver quickly alighted from the car, grabbed her and shoved her into it before driving off. He then secured her arms with duct tape, which he also used to cover her mouth and eyes.

The teenager said she was then taken to a pond somewhere near the Usine Ste Madeliene sugar factory where he took her out of the car, stripped her naked and proceeded to rape and bugger her. The vicious assault left the teen bleeding, police sources said. After the attack, the man beat the crying teen. The man then dumped his victim in a dark, deserted track before speeding off in his car. Sometime later the teenager managed to free herself and called out a passerby for help. She was taken to Ste Madeliene Police Station where a report was made. The teen was taken to hospital where the District Medical Officer (DMO) medically examined her and confirmed to police that she was sexually assaulted. She was then treated and warded. The teenager could give little description of her attacker and his car. Princes Town police are continuing investigations.
