Cops rescue kidnapped St James businessman

WESTERN Division police are seeking the whereabouts of a Mara-val businessman to assist them in the short-lived kidnapping of a St James businessman yesterday morning. Around 10.30 am yesterday, Terry Kadoo, 35, left his Brunton Road, St James air-conditioning and refrigeration  business place in his car when another vehicle containing three men drove up in front of him. The men pulled out firearms and ordered him into their car and sped off.

Two men who were in Kadoo’s car rushed to the St James police station where they made a report. A dragnet was immediately put in place and with the assistance of the Western Division Task Force, the Criminal Investiga-tions Department and the Anti-Kidnapping Squad, the car with two of the kidnappers and Kadoo was found parked on Celestine Trace, Maraval.
