Diego man charged with murder of student

A 30-year-old Upper La Puerta Avenue, Diego Martin man is to appear before a Port-of-Spain magistrate today charged with the murder of Mucurapo Secondary School student Duncan Prince. Prince, 16, was chopped while asleep at his La Puerta home last Wednesday. He died later at the Port-of-Spain General Hospital. The killer had climbed through the victim’s window. After investigations, a man who was once involved in a relationship with the dead teen’s mother was held. The teen’s mother went to the United States of America after threats to her life.
