Man arrested for molesting child

A 23-year-old Tacarigua man will appear before an Arima magistrate today, charged with the sexual molestation of a four-year-old girl. According to police reports, after two weeks of investigations, the unemployed Tacarigua man was charged. Police said the mother and child, who live in Arouca, went to spend a weekend by a relative in Tacarigua, where the man shares the same apartment building. He allegedly molested the child in the house. The angry mother took her daughter to the police station where a report was made and later carried her to the doctor, where tests confirmed she was interfered with. WPC Burgess laid the charge.
