3 held with army vest

THREE men will appear today before a Port-of-Spain Magistrate charged with being in possession of an army-issued bullet proof vest and marijuana. The men ages 25, 19 and 17 were arrested on Saturday morning  when officers of the Western Division Task Force raided a house at Union Road, Diego Martin. The exercise was coordinated by Sgt Ramsoobhag and ASP Gonzalez.

In an unrelated matter, four men will also appear before a city magistrate today charged with possesion of marijuana. The men were arrested during an exercise in the Morvant area also on Saturday morning. Twenty other persons were issued tickets for traffic related offences. Leading the exercise were Snr Supt Bishop, Insp Coa, Sgt Koon Koon and Louison.
