Brizan’s wall of trouble

Brizan told the Hotline that the wall, which has now begun to crack and fall apart, no longer protects her home but is instead causing destruction to her property.

She added that rainwater flows through the holes and has spoilt everything that was under a shed in her yard. After several complaints made to the City Council ended without any relief, Brizan said she was turning to the People’s Hotline for help.

Newsday called the City Corporation and spoke to an official of the City Engineers department, who although hesitant at first to speak with Newsday, promised to investigate Brizan’s claim.

The People’s Hotline then passed on all of the information provided by Brizan to the engineer.
