Woodland ahead in Super League

Paul Wintz scored 130 not out and Keon Celestine 78 as Woodland United amassed a total of 343 for nine declared.

Victoria were then dismissed for 223 in their first innings with Hansraj Rampersad claiming five wickets and Paul Wintz following his century taking three for 64.

Following on, Victoria narrowly escaped an outright defeat closing their second innings on 209 for eight. Veejai Heeralal played a defiant knock of 71 preventing Woodland United from getting maximum points after Wazim Bally four for 30 and Ramjass Nagassar two for 22 almost bowled their team to victory.
