Suriname kickboxers coming for JPC bouts

The bouts will be staged on July 19 at 7 pm at the Jean Pierre Complex in Mucurapo.

On the cards are five promising amateur kickboxers who have been preparing for their fights under the observation of national Muay Thai coach Gregory Quan Kep and National Low kick coach Rodney Ramlal.

The fights will be Amateur Muay Thai style — using knees, no elbows and the Low-Kick kickboxing style.

The tournament follows the TT versus Martinique tournament held at the same venue two months ago.

The national team includes Marlon Taylor, Kenroy Wilson, Connell Straker (Muay Thai), Shaboo Roberts and Alistair Elder (Low Kick Style).

Suriname will be represented by Remuel Hiwal, Micha Thahito, Marciano Bhugwandas, Pytho Markiet and Iamad Ramahr.
