BWIA owned one pair slots

Caribbean Airlines does not wish to engage in an argument on the price for which the BWIA Heathrow slots were sold. However, it would be remise of us if we did not correct one glaring error in the article. Airport slots are sold as daily pairs, one in and one out. BWIA possessed just one pair of daily slots, not even as stated in the article. It is also worthy of note that, around the same time of the BWIA slot sale, SN Brussels Airline sold seven daily pairs of Heathrow slots for ?35 million. This works out to roughly the same unit price per slot as the BWIA slot sale.

In addition, subsequent to the sale of the one BWIA Heathrow slot pair, Air Jamaica sold theirs at a price slightly less than the BWIA slot sale.
