CCT Ultra-Series launched

The first race, the 16-year-and-over aquathlon (2500-metre run, 1000m swim and 2500m run), saw national champ David Hay defeat Akil Baptiste for the top prize, while Lily Stauble beat Christian Marsden to take the 11-12 division.

Selik Leacock claimed the 9-10 division, ahead of Simon Eligon, while Stefan Steven narrowly overcame Perdita Bradford to prevail in the eight-and-under division.

In the first Aquathlon Division, Akeem Roberts and Marika Mendez took home the respective boys’ and girls’ crowns.

In the Open Water Swim, Adam De Gannes whipped Shania David in the 11-12 age group, Kadeem Gittens blanked Danielle Viruel for the 13-14 category and, in the 9-10 girls, Sabrina David won gold, followed by Raven Toney.
