Performing arts auditions tomorrow

Contestants selected for SCOTT will compete in singing, dancing, acting or playing a musical instrument in the semi-final round. The final contestants will participate in seminars/workshops and a “know your country tour.” The top five placed contestants will receive trophies and scholarship grants will be awarded to the top three for tertiary education in the amounts of $10,000, $7,000 and $5,000 respectively.

Talented individuals including models and groups ages 8-35 will be considered to attend the World Championships of Performing Arts, scheduled for July 10 - 21, 2013. They will perform among talented individuals and groups from around the world and have to opportunity to network with entertainment industry professionals.

Members of the entertainment industry from Hollywood, Nashville and New York (managers, agents, casting directors, producers, music industry representatives, ect) are invited to judge, conduct seminars during the period of events during which the Junior and Senior Grand Champion Performers of the World titles will be awarded.

In addition, US$130,000 in scholarships – US$30,000 in scholarships from the famed Millennium Dance Complex and US$100,000 from the renowned New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts School of Film and Television – will be granted.
