BRERETON: EARLVIN (PATSY) – June 16 1942 – February 3 2013. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, affectionately called ‘Patsy’. Son of the late Joseph and Geraldine Brereton. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Veronica (Coreen) Brereton, his children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews and in-laws. Patsy will forever be remembered for his love of music, family, friends, and his homeland Trinidad and Tobago. As an auto and industrial mechanic by trade, he was always willing to help friends and family at the drop of a hat. He was well-known and loved in the Caribbean community. Patsy was one of the founders of the Trinidad and Tobago Old Boys’ Assoc, and the Westend Sports and Cultural Club – two long-running Toronto community organisations. He will be laid to rest in Trinidad on Monday February 18, 2013 at Mount Herman Baptist Church, St Mary’s Village, Moruga Road at 2 pm. Viewing at 1 pm.
