TTEC worker in critical condition

Kenneth Mc Kree suffered the burns after an explosion occurred as he was operating a switch on a high voltage installation at the Immigration building on Frederick Street, Port-of-Spain on Monday.

In a statement issued on Monday afternoon, TTEC said the explosion occurred at about 5.30 pm. The commission said Mc Kree, a father of two, was alert and responsive to the doctors. It said that a burn specialist was called in to provide further assistance.

When Newsday spoke to a relative yesterday, they said he was still in a critical condition. Peter Burke, OWTU’s executive vice president said Mc Kree was admitted into the Intensive Care Unit, and was listed in a critical condition. He said the next two days were going to be critical, and they were hoping he improved in that time.
