Indian Medicine returns Saturday

The Bobby Persad-trained five-year-old mare who made all the running in winning the “big” race on Saturday last, will face five challengers in the 1100 metres sprint on the turf course.

Among the Kavita Persad-owned mare’s challengers are Slewjero, turf specialise Fly Juniot El Bandido De Oro and Diplomatic Cat.

The day will be marked by the running of the $150,000 Ibis Stakes for fillies and the $150,000 Flamingo Stakes for colts and geldings.

Turfites will be looking forward to the clash between Serengeti and two-year-old queen Blur Tequila, a course record holder over 1000 metres.
