Girl, 13, missing after gang-rape

They were charged under the Children’s Act and not under the Sexual Offences Act.

According to a report made to the San Fernando CID, the girl was sexually assaulted on ‘Bakayard Beach, King’s Wharf near a housing settlement in Embacadere on Saturday. Yesterday, the teen boys also of Embacadere, appeared before Magistrate Ava Vandenburg-Bailey in the Sixth Court, San Fernando.

Three of the four were granted bail in the sum of $75,000 each while the fourth was remanded into custody.

The case was adjourned to September 22. Police confirmed that a search is underway for the missing girl. WPC Kerry Cedeno Figaro charged the four teenagers.
