Morvant Caledonia United revamp league squad

MORVANT CALEDONIA United, formerly Caledonia AIA, will be fielding a revamped squad for the 2015-2016 Digicel Pro League season.

Among the new faces are national goalkeeper Marvin Phillip and St Kitts/Nevis’ striker Kennedy Isles, while ex-Trinidad and Tobago captain Densill Theobald makes a return to the team after a stint in India with Royal Wahingdoh.

There are a number of players from Guyana, St Lucia, Antigua/ Barbuda, St Kitts/Nevis, Barbados as well as Canada in their current squad.

Morvant Caledonia United will start their 2015-2016 campaign when they face San Juan Jabloteh at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo today.

Squad (countries in brackets) - GOALKEEPERS: Marvin Phillip (Trinidad); Anthony Whyte (Canada).

DEFENDERS: Alexis Ambrose, Jameel Neptune, Kareem Joseph, Shaquille Edwards, Shomari Antoine, Jamal Roach (Trinidad); Ranaldo Bailey (Barbados); Daniel Whyte (Canada); Ordell Flemming (St Kitts/Nevis); Otev Lawrence (St Lucia).

MIDFIELDERS: Abdallah Phillips, Akim Armstrong, Anthony Charles, Stephan Davis, Densill Theobald (Trinidad); Eugine Kirwan (Antigua); Jamaal Harvey, Kareem Knights (Guyana); Antonio Joseph, Antonius Myers, Gregory President (St Lucia).

STRIKERS: Akeem Roach, Chase Sealey, Kyle Bartholomew (Trinidad); Pernell Schultz, Sheldon Holder (Guyana); Kennedy Isles (St Kitts).
