Newsday’s Spot the Ball Challenge Week 6 winners
Each person will get a pair of IMAX tickets each for successfully spotting the ball in the picture. There was no winner on Monday but Tuesday saw Carol Cyrus claiming top honours.
Cherelle Greaves was triumphant on Wednesday and Crystal Clarke earned the win on Thursday.
But there were no successful entrants on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Match of the Day was the Swansea game against Manchester City, in the English Premier League, on Sunday.
The questions asked were — how many goals do you think will be scored (two); do you think there’ll be any red cards (no); how many concerns will the game have (eight) and which team will commit more fouls (Manchester City).
There was no confirmation of the person predicting all four winners (and hence entitled to the $5,000 jackpot), but Navin Dabiesingh, who chose three out of the four answers, will walk away $500 richer.
Larry Assong, who got two out of the four answers correct, will get four Digicel IMAX gift certificates valued at $100 each.
But noone got only one question correct — and the prize of two Digicel IMAX gift certificates valued at $100 apiece.
The Match Predictor, once again, proved to be tough for persons to guess accurately, as nobody chose four, five or all six of the weekend’s listed games — Arsenal versus Aston Villa (Arsenal won 4-0), Chelsea versus Leicester (the match ended in a 1-1 draw), Manchester United versus Bournemouth (Manchester United won 3-1), Newcastle versus Tottenham (Newcastle won 5-1), Stoke versus West Ham (Stoke won 2-1) and West Brom versus Liverpool (the match ended in a 1-1 draw).
