TBL teams with Zamora for Olympic, CPL tune

Entitled “Let’s Go Trinbago”, the song has already been rotating on most urban stations and was written to patriotically represent all of our national athletes.

Narada Wilson, TBL sports executive, further explained, “Zamora is a young artiste that we approached with the idea late last year to use her soca track for Carnival 2016 and re-do it as an athlete support song. The track was produced by Star-Blu Entertainment. Other production work on the track was done by Media 21 and Madmen Production, with Cherise Ransome and former national cyclist Thireef Smart doing the vocals.” The sports management firm partnered with Zamora and decided to do a track for the athletes.

The song fuses samba, soca and electronic dance music.

“We understand Brazil, as that is where we have been based for several years, and we also understand athletes as that is our specialty,” Wilson elaborated.

“Other persons offered material for corporate jingles and even as the official song but that only pleases a few but we wanted something for all national athletes to play in their audio devices for training and before competitions, and for the public to chant and dance to globally once the love the brand Trinbago.” An upbeat dance song with samba instruments and a rhythmic pattern than any ‘Trinbagonian’ can move, train, run, throw, bat or jump to.

Zamora is a Performing Arts graduate and studied in Canada, Brazil and Barbados.

She is also a trained vocalist and dancer.

“The song has been on the making waves on the radio for over a week and we are awaiting word from Trinbago Knight Riders to see their interest. We have also been in talks with a major night spot to have it be launched there also, the Brazil public also love it so one can expect Trinidad and Tobago to have support down there in July/August,” said a hopeful Wilson.

The Brazil Link Ltd, through is sporting arm TBL Sports continues to be involved in all aspects of sports and more importantly the athlete. “This we see as another innovative idea in us leading the new sports industry cycle in TT and kudos to Zamora for taking this chance with us,” Wilson closed.
