Embrace your originality
Your creativity can only flourish with original ingredients even though you may be subjected to unfair criticisms. Originality offers great fulfilment in developing the whole you; imagine producing an original idea and being able to realise your dream and showcase your creative ability.
Originality is often stifled by doubt and trivialisation and sometimes those affected, are unable to realise their true potential.
Human beings possess an overwhelming capacity and thirst for imagination and creativity, but it takes a huge will and determination for that imagination to evolve into something great; imagination is boundless, meaning that one has the freedom to unshackle his or her creativity beyond their wildest dreams. Though inspiration to achieve may be fuelled by external factors, the most extraordinary factor is that internal flame which exudes from within, that propels us to maximise our greatest potential.
Though we are unique in multiple ways, there are some things that make us different from each other, and first and foremost is our originality as we were not created to be the same. Psychologically and physically, each of us brings a unique element to the table, and for that, we need to be proud. Societies have been advancing through technology and intelligence and these are ideal support mechanisms that are necessary in showcasing our originality. Through my on-going interaction and work with women, some have admitted, that they withhold unleashing their creativity, through fear of losing favour by their friends and even relatives. I am of the strong view that your life belongs to you and guided by your creator; therefore, becoming distracted by what others may think of you and/or your originality is irrelevant. Pegging from my own experience shows, that it takes courage and strength to set yourself apart from the crowd.
Something I attempt to engender in women on a daily basis through customised training and personal counselling. Thinking and acting based on what others think about you can be the greatest impediment in the lives of women, and many have regretted doing so.
There are some characteristics that stand out in those who dare to be original and creative.
They are very observant; in fact, through observation, their thinking clocks work faster than usual. Because of their quest to achieve, there are no fixed hours of work. Taking time off for peace and privacy is important.
Life’s obstacles are transformed into positives; they seek new experiences and ask out-of-the-box questions. They are risk takers who follow their passions to the end.
Their lives are surrounded by positivity and any additional mechanisms capable of supporting their quests. Connecting the dots becomes easy for creators as they unravel things outside of the norm. Being original allows you to open many doors during your trek in achieving your milestones.
