Mom of three on bond

Prosecutor Sgt Wendell Fernando told the court that at about 12.25am yesterday, police officers on duty at Hermitage Village, St Margaret’s stopped and searched Ramattan when they found the marijuana inside her purse.

“But she has learnt from her bad habit that being in bars is not a nice place,” Chatoor told Daniel. Chatoor also said that Ramattan had no previous conviction. Daniel placed Ramattan on a bond in the sum of $2,000 to keep the peace for one year. If she fails to, she would spend six months in jail.
