She shared some of the details with Newsday earlier this week stating that it will be an intimate wedding with 300 guests comprising family and close friends, as well as a few past beauty queens and past pageant directors.

About her dress, Walcott said, “I thought it would have been a challenge to find the ‘right’ dress since I’ve been so lucky to wear a number of stunning gowns in my life, so I felt pressured to find something to top all the ones before for the most important day of my life so far.

“As fate would have it, my sister-in-law to be took me to the store where she purchased the first dress in the first store she tried on for her wedding and well it must be one lucky store because I fell in love with the first dress in that very store. First dress, first store. I love my dress its very romantic and sexy.”

The colour scheme for the wedding? The hazel eye beauty said, “I am a true romantic at heart and a pageant girl all the way so my wedding will be all whites, pearls and crystal tones.”

As for the church and wedding reception decor, Brian Gopaul of Elite Planners Ltd and a dear friend to the bride and groom, will be responsible for that.

Another family friend and described by Walcott as an extremely talented chef, Gwyneth Pogson will be handling the menu.

Regarding the live entertainment at the reception, Walcott told Newsday: “I do have an elegant local artiste performing at my cocktail reception.”
