Baby died from pneumonia

A Blue Basin, Diego Martin family breathed a silent sigh of relief when they learnt their baby died from pneumonia and not crib death  as they originally thought. According to information, at around 11 pm on Tuesday, four-month-old Kassey Jagessar was placed asleep in her crib next to her twin by their mother. The mother awoke around 4 am yesterday morning to find the baby dead. An alarm was raised and the police were contacted. They in turn contacted the DMO who ordered the body removed to the Forensic Science Centre where an autopsy performed by Dr Barrow confirmed death was from pneumonia. Cpl Gosine is continuing inquiries.
