More surgery for young Lochan
NOEL Lochan will undergo further surgery today at the San Fernando General Hospital in an attempt to remove the remaining boils from his neck, shoulders and back. Lochan, 23, of St Julien Road, Princes Town underwent surgery on May 7, where three large boils on his face, were removed. Yesterday, a large strip of bandage covered parts of his face where the boils were prior to being surgically removed. However, his parents are seeking answers from doctors regarding the results of several tests carried out on Lochan. Speaking to Newsday, Lochan’s parents said they would still like to know the results.
Lochan who appeared to be in high spirits yesterday, spoke briefly with Newsday yesterday at Ward Six of the San Fernando General Hospital. Lochan said he was grateful for the medical attention he received and continues to receive and hoped that soon he would be normal again. Lochan said the surgical wounds to his face were “healing well and there is no pain in that area.” He also expressed hope that today’s surgery would be a success. Lochan was sent to San Fernando General Hospital on orders of Health Minister John Rahael.
