Security guard robbed of gun

A security guard was robbed of her loaded revolver while carrying out escort duties at Mamoral yesterday. Reports revealed that around 11.15 am, security guard Drupatie Bedassie, 31, was seated in a du Maurier van with driver Fazal Ali, when on reaching Mamoral Junction, they were confronted by a lone gunman. The gunman robbed Bedassie of her loaded revolver and then fled the scene. Acting Cpl Terrance Williams visited the scene and carried out enquiries.
