Man gunned down in Morvant

A 23-year-old man was shot dead while walking along Garrick Street in Morvant on Saturday afternoon. Reports revealed that around 6 pm, Narvalla George was shot five times by a lone gunman. Officers of the Morvant Police Station went to the scene and found George’s body in a pool of blood. The body was viewed by a District Medical Officer and ordered removed to the Forensic Science Centre. Police described the killing as gang-related. An autopsy today will determine the cause of death.
