Shoelace bandits rob man of car

A TAXI-DRIVER was forced to drive to a lonely area on Wednesday night where he was robbed of his car after one of his “passengers” tied a shoelace in a choke hold around his neck. Timothy Lutchmansingh, 27, told police he was plying his car along the San Fernando to Pleasantville route when he picked up three men, all dressed in dark clothing, who requested to be taken to Blitz Village, Pleasantville. One of the “passengers” put a shoelace around his neck and threatened to strangle him if he did not drive to the M2 Ring Road. The men then kicked Lutchmansingh out of his $60,000 car and sped off. Mon Repos police are continuing investigations.
