New law term opens Sept 16
Chief Justice Satnarine Sharma will open the 2004/2005 law term on Thursday September 16. It will be the first time in many years the opening of a law term would not take place on a Monday. The traditional service will take place at the Cathedral Church of the Holy Trinity on Abercromby Street, Port-of-Spain. Then the CJ will inspect a guard of honour at Knox Street, in front of the Hall of Justice. Judges, magistrates, lawyers and other guests will move to the Convocation Hall, where CJ Sharma will formally open the new law term.
