Expect bad luck for stealing

During the trip, because of my preoccupation with my father, I failed to notice when my wallet containing approximately US$1000 and TT$1000 fell out of my purse. About 12 hours later when I needed money to pay for gas, I realised that I had lost my wallet. I immediately called the airline and learned that Customs had my wallet in their possession. It never even occurred to me that my money would be gone. I had more faith in people than that, especially in my people. I picked up my empty wallet that afternoon feeling angry and defeated, and also incredibly saddened by people’s dishonesty.

To the offending person(s) I’d just like to say these few words: I hope the satisfaction you got from that money brings you comfort in later days when unlucky things begin happening to you. I am a strong believer in karma and I truly believe that people get what they deserve at some point in their lives.
