Super Jigga releases new soca song

The soca fraternity in TT has been hit with a shockwave, for not only are young people tuned in to the sound of this vibrant soca impresario, but so are the promoters and all-inclusive fete lovers who avidly await the 2009 Carnival season, in high hopes of the performance that will accompany the track.

“Frontline”, produced by Peter Coppin, is the latest pre-Carnival sensation to hit local airwaves. It has been written and sung by none other than Super Jigga TC- The King of Swag.

Seemingly overnight, this artiste who has for years supported promotion and upliftment of the art form, has come centre stage with a song that offers raunchy lyrical content, backed by the rhythm of soca champions across the region.

There is no denying the fact that this former RadioActive soundman, is headed for Carnival 2K9 success.

TC has been in the entertainment business for more than ten years. Known among his peers and fans as Supper Jigga TC- The King Of Swag, this self-made artiste entered the entertainment arena as a soundman with renowned sound system, RadioActive Sounds. From there, he decided to become better informed, taking up classes abroad and subsequently returning to TT where, along with Iwer “The Boss” George, he founded and branded Trinibashment 91.9FM- The All Soca station in Trinidad.

Since then, TC has produced the annual Soca 4 Summer concert series and has moved to invigorate and encourage the youths by producing Soca Star, a television reality series that is now in its fourth season.
