UTC records it 500,000th customer account

In a media release, Marlon Holder, the UTC executive director, described the achievement as “incredible” saying it clearly demonstrated the confidence customers continued to have in the corporation. He said the UTC’s growth was a testament to managing customers’ investments in varying economic conditions by staying focussed on offering excellent customer service and financial solutions to meet their needs. In celebrating the accomplishment, the UTC executive director also hinted in the press release that the 2008 financial performance of the corporation was “strong” and would give customers additional reasons and incentives to continue doing business with the company. In 2008, the UTC launched an online service which resulted in customers from over 130 countries having access to their UTC accounts at anytime 24 hours a day.
